Martial Arts in Richmond, VA
The primary discipline taught here at Aamerican Colleges of Jiu-Jitsu and Karate is a mixed art known as Aam-Ka Jiu-Jitsu, which incorporates Karate, Japanese and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Ninjutso, Kenpo, and more. Our teaching follows a kick, strike, throw, and submit style to create a devastating form of self defense that lives up to our motto: “If it works, we use it.”
We allow students as young as 5 years old to begin attending our classes (excepting Aikido), and our instructors have the skills and experience to work with adults and children of all ages and experience levels. We even offer an after school martial arts program for school aged children through 8th grade, and a martial arts summer camp that will keep your children engaged all summer long. Aamerican Colleges of Jiu-Jitsu and Karate works hard to maintain a family-like atmosphere in our studio, and we invite you to talk with our instructors about our excellent after school martial arts and martial arts summer camp programs.
